Coal Mining Permits and Enforcement
We have represented citizens and citizen groups in Illinois Surface Coal Mining Land Conservation and Reclamation Act matters, including surface coal mining permits and administrative appeals before the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Office of Mines and Minerals, Land Reclamation Division (“Department”); participated in rulemaking proceedings; and lands unsuitable for mining petitions before the Department, including administrative review before the Illinois Circuit Court and Illinois Appellate Court.
Pollution Control Board
